Services

Shabbat

Friday Evenings:

Shabbat evening worship services are participatory, engaging and attract a regular group of worshippers of all ages. Lively modern and traditional melodies help make Kol Haverim a “singing congregation.” Children are encouraged to participate in many ways including helping to lead the monthly Family Worship Services.

Shabbat worship services are held on Friday evenings at 7:30 PM, except for otherwise noted “Family Friday” services, which begin at 6:15 PM and are often followed by a preregistration-only dinner. Please see our calendar for details.

An Oneg Shabbat follows every service. We welcome everyone, members, guests and visitors, to join us in Shabbat worship.

Tot Shabbat:

The Tot Shabbat Service begins at 5:45 PM on select Friday evenings. Doors open at 5:00 and parents are welcome to bring a snack for their children before the service. Please see our calendar for details.

Saturday Morning:

New this year! Join us for a low-key Saturday morning Torah service on select dates, starting at 10:00 am, with a tasty light lunch afterward. Please see our calendar for details.

Holidays

The Cycle of Yearly Holidays and Festivals are celebrated with special traditions that enhance the meaning of the occasion for children and adults alike.

High Holy Day Worship is a time of meaningful spiritual devotion at Kol Haverim. Services are held on Erev Rosh Hashanah, the 1st and 2nd days of Rosh Hashanah, Kol Nidre, and throughout the day on Yom Kippur. A Family-Friendly Holy Day worship program takes place earlier in the morning before the main Holy Day Morning Worship Service. These services are open to Kol Haverim members and their families.
