Description:  This talk was originally scheduled to be held in person back in March 2020.  With the ongoing pandemic, the topic of this discussion has become even more relevant.  Pre-covid, approximately 7% of school-aged youth met criteria for an anxiety disorder.  Join Laura Miller, Ph.D. for a presentation on how to recognize symptoms of anxiety in school-aged children, ways to discuss anxiety with your child, and strategies to help your anxious child at home.  This brief presentation will be followed by a Q & A session where discussion is encouraged!
