Maccabiah Games 2022

EXCITING NEWS from a family in our congregation!  Carly and Jacob Bernstein, children of Rick and Carrie Silver-Bernstein, have been selected to represent the Women's Open Division and the Boys 18 and under division, respectively, on the USA Maccabi Futbol (soccer) Team and will be competing in Israel in July 2022.

We are so proud of their accomplishment and they are both very excited to be able to travel to Israel and play a sport they love. I am not aware of any other congregants who have participated in these games.  They are very excited to represent Kol Haverim and themselves in this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.

They are both expecting this trip to Israel to be life-changing and look to share their adventure with the congregation, especially the students upon their return.  The family would appreciate support from the congregation to send them on this adventure.

Currently, they are participating in a raffle through Maccabi USA.  The money raised through the sale of the raffle tickets will be credited towards their financial commitment at a rate of $80 for each $100 raffle ticket sold.  If you are interested in purchasing a $100 raffle ticket, please contact proud mom Carrie at tcccsb@earthlink.net to make arrangements.

Carly and Jacob also both have Fund Raising Pages through the Maccabi USA  website, and would appreciate your support!
