Tami has served at Congregation Kol Haverim since 1995. Prior to coming to Glastonbury, Tami served at Temple Tifereth Israel in Malden, Massachusetts. She holds a Masters Degree from the internationally renowned New England Conservatory of Music in Boston, MA and Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree from the University of South Florida. She was also awarded a Doctoral Fellowship by the University of Connecticut to Direct the "Women in the ARts" program. She has also completed course work in Judaic and Hebrew language studies at Hebrew College in Brookline, Massachusetts.

Among her roles as an accomplished coloratura soprano, she was cast in the leading role of Olympia in Jacques Offenbach's opera, The Tales of Hoffman produced by Opera New England in Woodstock, Connecticut. She has won various vocal awards including first prize in the National Association of the Teachers of Singing vocal competition in Florida. She has also worked as a recording artist of contemporary music.

Recent activities include a lecture concert of Jewish Wedding Music for Lake Placid Synagogue in New York and a judge for the annual singing competition "Greater Hartford Idol" and this past year was guest cantorial soloist at temples Beth Hillel of South Windsor and Ahavath Achim of Colchester, and Israeli Bonds annual dinner.

Tami was born and raised in Miami, Florida. Her husband David is a native of Manchester, Connecticut. She is most proud of her son, Daniel Adrian.
