Torah Scroll Restoration Project Sofer Neil Yerman came to Kol Haverim on June 9, 2005 to pick up our Torah Scroll for a restoration project that will see it return to us restored in time for an initial festive reading on Rosh Hashanah morning. A special program was presented that included a lesson on Torah and its meaning and mysticism, a description of the restoration process, and an opportunity for those in attendance to take part in an initial cleaning/restoration of one section of our scroll! |
