Working to make Judaism a dynamic force in the lives of our women, Sisterhood offers religious, cultural, social and recreational activities, while serving the Synagogue and the community. The Caring Committee, under the auspices of Sisterhood, offers all our members support in times of sorrow and shares in the joy of our members' simchas.
Bi-monthly get-togethers of the Ya Ya Sisterhood are being scheduled for fun-filled evenings of dinner and/or dessert…. If enough women are available during the daytime, we’d love to hear from you, too. More information to follow. Are you interested in learning to play the game of our ancestors: Mah Jong? Carol Schaffer has generously offered her expertise to teach an interested group of novices this fascinating game. To express your interest, please contact Carol Fishman. Looking for a few good women (and men) to fulfill the mitzvah of Derech Eretz, to honor, respect and care for each other, by volunteering to make a meal, pick up a prescription, drive a congregant to a doctor’s appointment…a small service to make the life of a congregant in need a little easier. Please contact Chris Bausmith.
