Rabbi Marantz Embarking on "Journey Toward Greatness"
Beginning this June, Rabbi Craig Marantz will be embarking on a “journey toward greatness” as one of only 18 rabbis throughout the country participating in the third year of a new program STAR Rabbis: From Good To Great.  STAR Rabbis: From Good to Great is the first initiative to explore excellence in leadership with rabbis who have at least 10 years experience. Get Your Mitzvah On!
Visit the Fifth-Grade “Mitzvah Mall,” Sunday, May 18, 2008, 9:30 AM - 12:30 PM. Each year, our fifth graders choose a charity or organization to represent at the Mitzvah Mall, either on their own or with a team. They research the charity to find out its mission, who and how they help, and what donations are used for. The children prepare displays about their charities and can answer your questions about where the money goes. THE MYSTERY OF ATTRACTION

Nava Rephun (licensed clinical social worker and a certified Imago Relationship therapist) will explain some of the conscious and unconscious motivations for choosing a spouse.  The program will offer concrete tools on how to enrich our relationships, will be interactive and will demonstrate a communication technique.
 
Mother’s Circle Meet and Greet

The Mother’s Circle is a networking and step-by-step program to help take the mystery about of Jewish parenting for non-Jewish women raising Jewish children.  Meet other moms who have already gone through this successful and meaningful program and learn about how you can join this class in Glastonbury and South Windsor in the Fall of 2008.
