Lisa Gittelman Udi

Lisa holds a Master of Arts in Folklore and Mythology, specializing in immigrant/ethnic folklore and personal experience narrative, from the University of California at Los Angeles and a Bachelor of Arts in Drama from the University of Southern California. She has also completed course work in Jewish education and Jewish Family Education at Hebrew Union College in New York and Los Angeles, and at the University of Judaism in Los Angeles.

Lisa has served as a faculty member of the Union for Reform Judaism’s Crane Lake camp since 2000. She has also served on the board of the Long Island Temple Educators and the Association of Jewish Librarians of Los Angeles.

Prior to coming to Glastonbury, Lisa served as Director of Religious and Family Education at The Community Synagogue of Port Washington, NY and two years as Director of Education at Temple Israel of Jamaica, Holliswood, NY. She has also served as an instructor, Israeli dance teacher, librarian, and Family educator at University Synagogue in Los Angeles.

Lisa was raised in Moorestown, NJ. Her husband, Amnon Udi, was born and raised in Netanya, Israel. They have two children, Adam and Jordan.
